Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Anandam Foundation (registration no. DEL-AR25711-20122016), C-801, Titanium Square, Thaltej Cross Road, Thaltej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380054, India ("we", "us") handles personal data on this website and in the Anandam mobile app.

We collect only what we need to run programs, accept contributions and stay in touch – and we never sell your data.

• Account: your email address (to sign in) and the profile details you choose to add – name, phone, city, state and language.
• Program registrations: the details in the registration form, so our team can confirm your place by WhatsApp, phone or email.
• Contributions: name, email, phone, address and the amount, cause and date of each contribution. Your PAN only if you ask for an 80G tax receipt. Your card, UPI or bank details go only to Razorpay – we never see or store them.
• Counselling requests: the topic, preferred time, your note and contact details – visible only to the staff who arrange the session.
• Messages: what you send through the contact form, the newsletter sign-up or a WhatsApp chat with us.
• App notifications: if you allow them, a notification address for your phone, the topics you choose and (if you add it) your city.
• On your phone only: the app keeps your welcome choices, practice streak, saved talks, downloads and e-passes on the device. We do not receive them.

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To confirm registrations, send event details, e-passes, join links and reminders.
• To process contributions, issue receipts (including 80G receipts when applicable) and keep the accounts that Indian law requires.
• To answer your messages and arrange counselling sessions you request.
• To send newsletters and app notifications you have chosen – you can stop them at any time.
• To keep the website and app safe, for example by limiting repeated form submissions.

We rely on your consent (which you can withdraw at any time) and, for contribution records, on our legal obligations under Indian tax and accounting laws.

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the platform, and only for that purpose:

• Supabase – our database, sign-in and file storage.
• Vercel – hosting for this website.
• Razorpay – payment processing for contributions.
• Expo and Google Firebase – delivering app notifications.
• Our email provider – sign-in codes, receipts and messages you asked for.

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India, with safeguards in their contracts. We may also disclose data when the law requires it. We never sell or rent your data, and we never share it for advertising.

This website uses only essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Videos load from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and only after you press play. YouTube's own privacy policy applies to videos you watch.

• Account and profile: until you delete your account.
• Registrations and counselling requests: while your account exists, or as long as needed to run the program.
• Contribution records and receipts: for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require, even after an account is deleted.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance.

• Edit your profile any time in My account (website) or Me (app).
• Turn app notifications off in Me → Notifications.
• Delete your account – see Delete my account.

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access in our database is restricted row by row, so members see only their own records and only authorised staff see personal details. Receipts are stored privately and shared only through short-lived download links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will inform you as the law requires if a breach affects you.

Our programs and accounts are meant for adults. A person under 18 may take part only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, tell members by email or in the app.
